Dr. Stephen Reder is Professor and Chair of Portland State University's Applied Linguistics program. Dr. Reder is the principal investigator on the Lab School project.

Dr. Kathryn A. Harris, Assistant Professor of Applied Linguistics at PSU is the lead researcher for classroom-based studies at the Lab School.

 
 
Dr. Reuel Kurzet, Dissemination Associate

Dr. Reuel Kurzet, ESL Department Chair at Portland Community College, Sylvania Campus, is the project lead on professional development and dissemination. Dr. Kurzet also serves as the liaison between the Lab School and the PCC administration.

Dr. John Hellermann, Assistant Professor of Applied Linguistics at PSU is the lead researcher for second language acquisition studies at the Lab School.

Dr. Brian Lynch, Professor of Applied Linguistics at PSU, is a collaborating faculty member at the Lab School. Dr. Lynch brings his extensive expertise in the field of language assessment to the Lab School team.

 
 
Dr. Susan Conrad

Dr. Susan Conrad, Professor of Applied Linguistics at PSU, is a collaborating faculty member at the Lab School. Dr. Conrad specializes in the field of Corpus Linguistics. She is pioneering the use of corpus linguistic tools using data from the Multimedia Adult English Learner Corpus (MAELC) at the Lab School.
