GuangLi was born in 1957. He was raised in China and attended school for 15 years, finishing high school and three years of economics college.

He worked in various occupations for 25 years before coming to the U.S. He was a bus driver and later worked eight years as a manager in an auto manufacturing plant. He also worked for 8 years as a manager in for building, and equipment production.

GuangLi migrated to the U.S. in January of 2003. Presently he is living with his wife and his 18 year old son. GuangLi has not worked since coming to the U.S. and reports that he is not looking for a job.
