| Labsite Student Study participants are recruited from
the Lab School classes. This means that they are starting
participation with low levels of English proficiency.
In most other ways they are a diverse group. Interviews
are currently conducted in seven languages: Spanish, Vietnamese,
Mandarin, Taiwanese, Russian, French and Cantonese. |

| Students are interviewed every year in their native
language. In the case of French speakers, French is not
the students' first language, but is a proficient second
language. Each interview lasts approximately 90 minutes. |
